Professional Experience
Gwen was elected President of Cotton + Allen in July 2007.  She previously chaired the firm’s tax department and Litigation Consulting Group.  Gwen is currently a member of the board of directors of DDAF and the Managing Director of the Louisville office of DDAF.  She has more than twenty-five years of experience in public accounting, including a position with a national accounting firm, as well as serving as a tax specialist in industry.

Gwen has been qualified as an expert witness in Jefferson Circuit and Family Courts, Federal Bankruptcy Court, and Oldham County Circuit Court.  She has testified (through live testimony, deposition and/or written reports) on business valuation and commerical damages issues including, but not limited to, lost profit claims and contract disputes as well as forensic accounting relating to hidden assets in marital dissolution cases and tax consequences relating to division of marital assets.
