In this role at DDAF, you’ll plan and execute audit engagements including managing client relationships, providing advanced specialized support, identifying opportunities to expand services & improve client profitability and assigning, mentoring and developing staff accountants.

• CPA with 2 – 6 years auditing experience in public accounting required
• Experience working with Internal Audit is preferred
• You’ll catch our immediate attention if you’ve worked or interacted with companies in the energy industry (specifically coal, oil or gas)

• Qualified candidates will have managed multiple engagements in a fast paced environment.

• Support clients in assessing tax burdens and recommend solutions to support overall business objectives/goals while ensuring filing positions are consistent with good business practices and with state/federal applicable tax laws and rules.
• Identify and execute tax planning and savings strategies for clients.
• Research and consult on various tax matters resulting in timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations.
• Develop and manage client relationships.
• Identify additional client service opportunities with current clients.
• Oversee staff work product including effective performance feedback, identifying development needs and training.

We’re looking for talented professionals with a minimum of two (2) years experience in public accounting with a history of providing input and bringing creative ideas to the table.  CPA required.  DDAF is eager to speak with tax professionals who enjoy and share a passion for training and developing staff.

Tax Overview:
Roughly half DDAF’s practice is concentrated in providing tax planning and compliance services.  We take a proactive approach in providing tax services and tax planning opportunities.  DDAF tax services include:

• Analysis, planning, and consulting to minimize federal, state, and local taxes
• Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, estates, trusts, not-for-profit organizations, and all forms of business entities
• Preparing tax returns for trust and estate accounts for financial institutions
• Representing clients in dealing with the Internal Revenue Service and other tax authorities

• Serving as first point of contact for customers/end-users experiencing technology related problems.
• Providing technical support by diagnosing, resolving or escalating hardware, software or network issues.
• Configuring, installing and maintaining hardware, software and operating systems.
• Basic server administration.

DDAF is seeking applicants with a passion for supporting customers and creating a positive IT experience.  Applicants who have experience identifying root causes for technology related problems and a methodical/disciplined approach to resolution will immediately catch our attention.

Business Development Director
The Director of Business Development will partner with DDAF leaders in formulating strategies to achieve annual revenue goals while also ensuring the successful tactical implementation of business initiatives.  Specifically, this includes:

• Driving DDAF name recognition through marketing, public relations and business development channels.
• Building business development strategies to meet annual revenue goals, attract/draw new clientele and augment services with current clients.
• Building business development strategies tailored to industry teams, non-industry teams and location.
• Gauging Firm success in meeting revenue targets and troubleshooting obstacles/impediments to goal attainment
• Educating team members in regards to business development
• Supporting the overall achievement of firm strategic objectives and goals.
• Leading the Firm’s business development, marketing and public relations team while utilizing their expertise in meeting organizational goals and maximizing current skills and abilities.

DDAF is seeking applicants with…

• Minimum six (6) to eight (8) years of professional experience with strategic business development and strategic planning in public accounting or professional consulting services required.
• Knowledge of public accounting sales/business cycle preferred.
• Candidates must have experience influencing leaders and achieving results through the actions of others.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other relevant fields of study.
